Evaluation 

Active English provides online materials, online tutoring, and online guidance for students to learn English as a second language. Students will learn about speaking, writing and both practices with our online programmes.  Students also need to know how far they have progressed in English mastery. For each class, there are evaluations as the class ends. These tests can provide insight into how much students have learned and practiced their English. The evaluation is done by online and divided into two sections, as follows :

1. Speaking Section

The test is about 20 minutes. It is advised for the student to have their earphones and mike while performing the test. You will have time to test out your equipment before starting. The materials of the speaking include:

• Reading 
• Describing 
• Responding to Questions
• Giving Solutions 
• Expressing Opinions. 

Please make sure to speak closely to the mike to have a clear and accurate answer to the questions given during the test. 

    2.Writing Section

The writing section will be done in an hour, fully online. Students will answer the question by typing on a QWERTY keyboard. QWERTY keyboard is the most common layout with the letters Q-W-E-R-T-Y on the top left side. Therefore, We recommend having a QWERTY keyboard and practice to type before the actual test. Practice can make students gain their optimal performance during the actual test. The writing test includes :

• Creating sentences
• Responding to a request
• Opinion essay

Students will need to answer each question at a specific time. Your screen will inform you how much time each question can be answered. There also will be a timer to assist students to manage their time for all of the questions. There is a “help” button should you need any assistance.
